Igor Severino became the youngest male champion in promotional history atOktagon 85in Hamburg.
Stepping into the main event spotlight against Khurshed Kakhorov for the vacant bantamweight title, Severino looked nothing short of spectacular in the first, lighting up his opponent with an onslaught of strikes. As Kakhorov came out for the second, the German standout looked all but defeated. Still, that didn’t stop Kakhorov from throwing heavy leather.
Unfortunately for the hometown crowd, they would see their hometown hero fall as Severino folded Kakhorov with a pair ofbrutal body shotsbefore getting the stoppage 98 seconds into the second stanza.
