Sept. 7th, 2026 - Bronx, NY: At approximately 10:55 p.m., officers from the 44th Precinct responded to the area of University Ave. and Merriam Ave. for a shooting that left two shot and one grazed.
One of the victims was a 43-yr-old man who was shot to the head and rushed to Lincoln Hospital in critical condition. The other two were a 65-yr-old woman shot to the leg and 52-yr-old who was grazed by a bullet, both taken to an area hospital on stable condition. It's unclear if any of the victims were intended targets.
