September 07, 2026 MANHATTAN, New York - Just before 2pm, Police in the 23 precinct responded to a report of a male shot near a playground in the rear of 332 E 115th Street on 1st ave at the NYCHA Thomas Jefferson Houses in East Harlem, NYC.
The injured male was transported to an area hospital and last listed in stable condition, cops said.
No arrests at this time, suspected gunman wearing a black hoodie fled on a bike northbound away from the scene. Investigation is ongoing.
