She took the blade off him and ran into the hallway still holding it. He left the school. Police arrested him later that day. A jury said not attempted murder. Wounding with intent. 4½ years. The judge said he brought the knife because he wanted to hurt her. She told the court she does not think she can be that teacher again. A classroom is where she was supposed to be safe. He used the homework as an excuse to stab his teacher.
