3rd Alarm Fire, Possible Dumpster Fire Spread to Building - Ridgefield Park, NJ

September 5, 2026 Ridgefield Park, NJ – At approximately 4:26 am the fire department announced a 2nd alarm on arrival at 82 Brinkerhoff Street, according to communications. Multiple people were removed from the building and additional ambulances were requested. Unknown condition of those removed, according to communications. Residents that evacuated the building stated that they awoke to knocking on the door. When exiting the building they noticed a dumpster was fully engulfed in flames.
