The U.S. military’s CENTCOM announced today that it had “struck three Iranian crude oil carriers, Sept. 5, after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched ballistic missiles toward two U.S. Navy warships patrolling regional waters.” CENTCOM said it “destroyed” the three Iranian tanker ships.
