LEWISTON, Maine - State police are investigating a shooting death in Lewiston. Lewiston Police responded to Blue Goose Tavern on Sabattus Street just before 1 a.m. Wednesday after receiving calls about shots fired outside the establishment. When officers arrived they found a man and a women with gunshot wounds. Police said the man died after being taken to a hospital. The woman was also hospitalized, treated for her injuries and has since been released. Authorities have not released any names at this time. A man responsible for firing the shots has been identified and is cooperating with law enforcement, officials said.
