The original Divider-in-Chief refused to let a day of mourning keep him from trashing President Trump in a most vile manner, but the White House had a spicy comeback in store.
As The Gateway Punditreported, former Presidents Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden attended Reverend Jesse Jackson’s memorial service in Chicago, Illinois, on Friday. Hillary Clinton and Jill Biden were also in attendance.
Jacksondiedlast month at the age of 84 after a battle with progressive supranuclear palsy, a rare neurodegenerative disorder.
When Obama took the stage to pay tribute to Jackson, TGP noted he quickly set out toslamTrump for poisoning America with “bigotry, corruption, and dishonesty.”
An emotional Obama also accused Trump of ‘assaulting’ America’s democratic institutions.
“Each day we wake up to some new assault on our democratic institutions, another setback to the idea of the rule of law, an offense to common decency, every day you wake up to things you just didn’t think were possible,” Obama said.
“Everywhere we see greed and bigotry being celebrated and bullying and mockery masquerading as strength while ignorance and dishonesty, and cruelty and corruption are reaping untold rewards every single day,” he added whiletearing up. “If we don’t step up, no one else will.
“How fortunate we were that Jesse Jackson answered that call; what a great debt we owe to him.”
The Trump Administration did not mince words after learning about Obama’s despicable political stunt.
During an interview with The DailyMail, White House spokesman Steven Cheung lit up the 44th President for his jealous tirade.
