Mohammad Fathali, Iran’s Ambassador to India, criticised the coordinated U.S.-Israeli strikes against Tehran, describing them as a “clear example of injustice".

Fathali said the attack is a continuation of the strike “between truth and falsehood". “What is happening today is not simply a political or military conflict. This strike is a continuation of the strike between truth and falsehood. On one side, there is human dignity, justice and the right of nations to live freely and independently. On the other side are oppression, injustice, and domination", he said, as quoted by news agency ANI.

Fathali said the U.S.-Israeli aggression is in violation of the principles of internal law and human dignity.

“The brutal military aggression by the US and Israeli regime against Iran is a clear example of this injustice. This aggression is not just against Iran but also against the principles of internal law and human dignity and rights of nations to determine their own future", he stated.

The U.S.-Israel war on Iran entered its eighth day on Saturday, with high-intensity strikes spreading through West Asia. Israeli strikes hit Tehran on Saturday, with explosions being reported at the capital’s Mehrabad International Airport and other parts of the city.

Iran also launched retaliatory strikes on the U.S. and Israeli military facilities in the Gulf. Following an Iranian attack in close proximity to the Dubai International Airport — one of the world’s busiest airports — Dubai authorities suspended all flight operations.

Iran’s President Issues Apology

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Saturday announced Tehran would not surrender to Israel or the U.S.

“The enemies must take their wish for the surrender of the Iranian people to their graves," Pezeshkian stated in a speech broadcast on state TV.
