A major disaster was closely averted in Kerala as a bus carrying a wedding party overturned while trying to avoid crashing into a scooter in Kerala’s Koothattukulam town of Ernakulam on Thursday morning. Over 35 persons, including the driver and passengers of the bus, the two wheeler rider escaped with minor injuries. CCTV videos emerged from the petrol pump near the accident site showing the bus, which was behind a scooter rider. The two-wheeler from the far left side of the road suddenly tried to take a perpendicular right turn seemingly without special awareness of the approaching tourist bus from behind.
