Sacramento police responded to the 3500 block of 44th Street in the Oak Park neighborhood after a disturbance involving a weapon. Officers say a suspect is barricaded inside what they describe as a shared residence, and they say other people are inside that home. Crisis negotiators and a SWAT team were called to try for a peaceful surrender. KCRA's LiveCopter 3 showed armored vehicles on the block. Police have not said whether anyone is injured and have not said whether any shots were fired.

That puts it near 35th Avenue, not the 11th Avenue pin that circulated on social. If you saw 44th and 11th, that looks like a bad location. The chat pin at 3540 44th matches the 3500 block police gave.
What we cannot confirm yet: reports from TikTok live chat of two bedridden hostages, one person in a wheelchair, a room-and-board setup, or a suspect first name.
