Iranian state TV broadcast a three-minute segment titled "Where and how should we kill Barron Trump?" which claims a $10 million bounty has been placed on the 20-year-old's head and alleges his movements have been “fully monitored.” The video purports to show his university location, escort vehicles, and Secret Service deployment, and claims a female infiltrator bypassed security to meet with him.
A number of commenters online have decried the threat as “disgusting” or an “act of war,” but as Jimmy points out, in February 2026 U.S.-Israel strikes targeted and killed Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family members, so by threatening Barron Iran only appears to be playing by the same rules as the U.S. and Israel.
