During the operation, officers were reportedly heard using a megaphone and calling out for wanted suspect Alex James Barnett. Barnett is wanted on a first-degree murder warrant in connection with Ramirez's death. Authorities have not yet confirmed that Barnett is inside the location, making this an active and developing situation. The case began on August 19 when Ramirez and his fiancée were attacked inside their home in the Tucson area. Investigators say masked intruders entered the residence and Ramirez fought with the suspects before gunfire erupted. Ramirez was fatally shot.
