August 24th, 2026 - Brooklyn, NY: At approximately 2:10 a.m., officers from the 76th Precinct responded to the BQE northbound lanes for a crash where a car slammed into and then wedged itself against the overhead sign structure for exit 27 (Atlantic Ave).
It's unclear how the vehicle got to its final resting state and also if any driver remained on the scene or not.
