NEW YORK (AP) — U.S. stocks are drifting ahead of a week packed with potentially market-moving events. The S&P 500 slipped 0.2% Monday and pulled further from its all-time high set earlier this month. The Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up by 67 points, and the Nasdaq composite fell 0.5%. Later this week will come Nvidia’s profit report, which could shed light on how strong the AI boom remains. On Friday, Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh will give a speech when pressure is rising on him to raise interest rates to get inflation under control. Longer-term yields eased in the bond market after oil prices dipped.
