AUGUST 23, 2026 Brooklyn, NY – At approximately 12:01 am two males were shot at the American Best Wings and Pizza located at 842 Rockaway Avenue in the confines of the 73 Precinct, according to police.
A 44-year-old man was transported by EMS to Brookdale Hospital with a gunshot wound to the head and later pronounced deceased. A 39-year-old man was transported to Brookdale Hospital with a gunshot wound to the right leg and is in stable condition, according to police.
Police are looking for a male in dark clothing who fled the scene, according to police.
