August 17th, 2026 - Manhattan, NY: At approximately 1:50 a.m., officers from the Midtown South Precinct responded to 490 8th Ave (btwn 34th & 35th St) for a stabbing that left a 19-yr-old male, a tourist visiting from Australia, with wounds to the back and chest.
The victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition. Droplets of blood could be seen on the seating inside the restaurant.
