August 20th, 2026 - Bronx, NY: At approximately 9:30 p.m., firefighters responded to 31 W. Burnside Ave for a fire that broke out in a barbershop.
There were five total victims. Two of them, a 29-yr-old male and 39 year female, were taken to area hospitals in critical condition.
It's unknown what sparked the blaze. Two electric scooters could be seen laid out and or standing on the sidewalk.
