Famed fashion designer Marc Jacobs has sparked massive outrage after casually admitting he would have been willing to style Luigi Mangione, the man who gunned down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in broad daylight, for his trial and called the confessed killer a “trendsetter.” The comments came during a Vanity Fair lie detector test interview that aired this week, in which the 63-year-old designer was reminded that his clothing had previously been worn by high-profile defendants including Lil’ Kim, Courtney Love, and Winona Ryder during their own trials.
