Reinier de Ridder wants to see former UFC double championConor McGregorfight at least one more time in the UFC and believes the Dubliner deserves to return to the octagon.During a recent interview with Standemup, “RDR” was asked whether he thinks McGregor will finally return in 2026.

The Dutch fighter first talked about McGregor’s ibogaine treatment in 2025 to address trauma, during which the Irishman claimed he“was shown the light.”

The former two-division ONE champion then praised the promotion’s biggest draw for taking the UFC to new heights with his unmatched popularity and stardom, for which de Ridder believes every fighter in the world should be thankful to McGregor. He said:

“I read somewhere that he’s healed. He went to the Amazon, did some Ayahuasca, and he’s now a different man. [Laughs] I think he’s coming back. I don’t know, but it would be so cool to see him fight one more time. Every fighter in the world owes so much to this dude. He made such a show, such a spectacle. It would be very fun to see him fight again. He deserves it. Hopefully.”
