The United States Justice Department on Thursday released an additional cache of late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein-related files, involving uncorroborated accusations made by a woman against President Donald Trump.
The files — comprising three parts of FBI interviews with the woman — had been mistakenly withheld during an earlier review, the department said.
The victim said she was introduced to Trump by Jeffrey Epstein. As per her allegations, Trump had hit her after she bit his penis when he forced her to perform oral sex.
The latest release comes against the backdrop of accusations by Democrats that Department of Justice withheld materials that included claims against the president.
President Trump has denied the allegations. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt described the claims “completely baseless accusations, backed by zero credible evidence, from a sadly disturbed woman who has an extensive criminal history".
“The total baselessness of these accusations is also supported by the obvious fact that Joe Biden’s Department of Justice knew about them for four years and did nothing with them, because they knew President Trump did absolutely nothing wrong. As we have said countless times, President Trump has been totally exonerated by the release of the Epstein Files," she stated.
The FBI report, however, notes the statements were made during interviews and do not represent verified conclusions by investigators.
Victim Forced Into Sexual Encounter
The witness told investigators that when she was between 13 to 15 years old, she was taken by Epstein to either New York or New Jersey, where she was introduced to Donald Trump.
According to her account, she met Trump in a large building “with huge rooms", where he asked others to leave before an alleged sexual encounter took place.
