New Delhi:Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for a three-day Radha Soami Satsang Beas event being held from March 6 to 8 at the Satsang complex in Bhatti Mines area, Chhatarpur. If you are planning to travel in south Delhi over the next three days, here is what you need to know.

Around 3 to 4 lakh devotees are expected to attend the religious congregation, with nearly 80,000 of them staying overnight at the Satsang complex. The remaining attendees will travel daily from Delhi and NCR and are expected to disperse by around 6 pm each day.

Heavy traffic is expected on Chhatarpur Road (SSN Marg), Bhatti Mines Road, Mehrauli-Gurugram Road and Mandi Road due to the large movement of devotees. The ongoing wedding season is likely to add further pressure, as several banquet halls and farmhouses are located on the same routes.

Heavy transport vehicles will not be allowed on Bhatti Mines Road between Chhatarpur Road and the Gurgaon Road T-point near the Satsang complex from 4 am to 8 pm on all three days. Heavy traffic from Mandi Road will be diverted via Jonapur cut towards Mehrauli-Gurugram Road, and from Bandh Road near Mallu Farm towards Jonapur-Mehrauli Gurugram Road.

Entry to the Satsang complex for devotees and vehicles will be from Bhatti Mines Road only. Devotees have been advised to reach before 5 am to avoid congestion. Those coming from Faridabad and Gurugram should approach via Dera Border. Parking is available inside the complex and no vehicle will be permitted to park on SSN Marg.

Emergency vehicles including police, fire services and ambulances will be allowed free movement in all restricted zones.

Delhi Traffic police urges commuters to plan journeys in advance due to heavy rush around Bhati Mines area. All passengers are advised to prefer public transport to reduce congestion. Motorists should follow traffic diversions and directions of traffic personnel. Meanwhile, devotees visiting the Satsang are advised to reach early to avoid congestion
