NEW: Unemployed Little Rock trans man gets the boot, then throws a full mental health résumé at police Harmony Mahoney, a transgender man, was being kicked out of her apartment because she couldn’t keep or land a job. Instead of packing like a normal person, she started chucking her belongings off the porch and held scissors to her neck. When officers showed up she rattled off a greatest-hits list of diagnoses: schizophrenia, bipolar type 1, insomnia, clinical anxiety, depression, and social anxiety. For good measure she also threw paint and threatened her roommates. She was booked on a 72-hour hold with a charge of third-degree assault on a family or household member. Apparently the only thing she successfully held onto was the unemployment.
