The Iran-Israel-America war entered its seventh day on Friday with mounting casualties and widespread destruction across Iran, following a massive coordinated military offensive launched by the United States and Israel on February 28, 2026.
Exclusive information and photographs accessed by CNN-News18 show extensive damage across several Iranian cities, with multiple buildings destroyed and neighbourhoods badly hit by continuous airstrikes during the first week of the war.
According to estimates, total deaths in Iran are believed to be between 2,114 and 2,662 people since the conflict began.
Of these, at least 1,114 deaths have been verified as civilians, while another 900 reported civilian deaths are currently under review, according to rights groups monitoring the war.
These organisations have warned that the civilian death toll is expected to rise significantly once verification of the additional fatalities is completed.
The conflict has also taken a heavy toll on Iran’s security establishment.
Reports indicate that between 1,000 and 1,500 Iranian military personnel have been killed, including 48 high-ranking government and military leaders.
Exclusive photographs accessed by CNN-News18 show damaged apartment blocks, burnt-out vehicles and buildings reduced to rubble, indicating the scale of destruction in several urban areas.
STRIKES REPORTED IN 16 IRANIAN CITIES
Information compiled by CNN-News18 suggests that at least 16 major Iranian cities and towns have been affected by the US-Israeli strikes. These include Tehran, Parand, Karaj, Minab, Bandar Abbas, Ahvaz, Isfahan, Qom, Shiraz, Kermanshah, Khorramabad, Tabriz, and Mashhad.
