A Cincinnati mother and her two trans partners are accused of torturing and killing 7-year-old William Evans-Ellis in a disturbing Ohio child murder case with an unbelievable family twist.

The case began unraveling after William’s mother, Kaitlin Evans, reportedly walked barefoot into a Mercy Health emergency room, collapsed on the floor, and claimed her partner Kirby Rankin was trying to kill her and that her son had been taken or hidden.
Police were sent to a home on Madison Road in Cincinnati, Ohio, where officers discovered 7-year-old William Evans-Ellis dead and bound with duct tape inside a closet.
William was developmentally disabled. Authorities say his cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head, and the Hamilton County coroner described bruises on his body as too numerous to count and of different ages. Investigators have also examined allegations involving repeated beatings, burns and water torture.
William’s mother, 38-year-old Kaitlin Evans, along with Nessa Keaney, 23, and Kirby Rankin, 33, were arrested. Prosecutors announced a 13-count indictment that includes aggravated murder, murder, kidnapping, felonious assault, child endangerment and conspiracy charges.
But the story takes another shocking turn involving William’s biological father.
In court, William’s father emotionally said he had been kept away from his son for nine months. Reporting discussed in this video says Evans previously accused William’s biological father, who is a transgender woman, of SA the boy. That allegation was reportedly investigated and determined to be unfounded.
