After the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, videos continue to emerge of citizens celebrating. One such video is that of some Iranians dancing to a remix of featuring US President Donald Trump’s declaration announcing the death of Iran’s supreme leader on Sunday.

According to Iran International, an Iranian DJ has released a dance remix of Trump’s announcement of Khamenei’s death.

In one of the videos circulating widely on social media, British Iranians in Birmingham, UK, used the track during celebrations on Wednesday.

This comes days after videos emerged of Iranians across the world dancing to YMCA, mimicking US President Donald Trump’s iconic dance.

Khamenei’s death on February 28, 2026, at the age of 86 has ended a 37-year tenure as Supreme Leader, one of the longest leadership periods in Iran’s history.

Videos on social media showed people cheering and car honking through the streets of Tehran as some Iranians marked the news of Khamenei’s death.

People gathered in Fardis, where drivers honked their horns and fireworks were set off in celebration.

Similar scenes were reported in Besat Town, a suburb of Karaj, where residents took to the streets after the announcement.
