Iran has launched a huge new wave of missiles at Israel, the IDF has confirmed.
A spokesperson said that missiles launched from Iran were identified byIsrael's defense systems, which are operating to intercept the threat.
"The Home Front Command has sent advance instructions directly to mobile phones in the relevant areas. The public is asked to act responsibly and follow the instructions, which are lifesaving. Enter protected spaces when you receive the alert and remain there until further notice. Leaving the protected space will only be permitted after receiving explicit instructions. Continue to follow the Home Front Command's instructions," the spokesperson also said.
It is understood Iran launched missiles towards Israel overnight as the conflict entered its sixth day, but posting on X through its official account, the IDF, however, also said they completed their 12th wave of strikes across Tehran.

In the Alborz province, "the headquarters of the special unit responsible for all internal security forces was targeted," the message said.
In Tehran, "targets belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Basij organization, and a central command center for the armed Internal Security forces, were struck, as well as dozens of command centers and weapons sites," the IDF also added.
Iranian missiles and drones were also intercepted in the UAE. Explosions were also reported in Qatar and Bahrain, andtwo drones also struck Azerbaijan, reportedly injurying two civilians, but Iran denied responsibility for the attacks.
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the incident at Nakhchivan Airport in the Azerbaijani exclave of Nakhchivan adding the country "reserves the right to take appropriate retaliatory measures".
