The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) has cancelled all class 10th board exams, and postponed the remaining board exams in the Middle East region, i.e. in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. As pee the announcement, all class 10 CBSE board exams that are scheduled on March 7 and 11 have been cancelled. Even the exams that were earlier postponed (scheduled on March 2, March 5, and March 6) have also been cancelled.
CBSE has also specified that mode of declaration of results for Class 10 students in the Middle East will be notified separately in due course.
Meanwhile, class 12 board exams scheduled on March 7 have been postponed for now. This is in continuation to the earlier released announcement in which board exams scheduled on March 2, March 5 and March 6 were postponed. Further, CBSE will review the situation on Saturday, March 7, 2026 and issue appropriate directions regarding examinations scheduled from March 9, 2026 onwards.

The official notice released by CBSE on their X account states:
"In continuation of Circulars dated 01.03.2026 and 03.03.2026, and after a critical review of the prevailing situation in parts of the Middle East (Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE), the Board has taken the following decisions:
a) All examinations scheduled from 07.03.2026 to 11.03.2026 stand cancelled.
b) Examinations scheduled on 02.03.2026, 05.03.2026, and 06.03.2026, which were earlier postponed, shall also stand cancelled.
c) The mode of declaration of results for Class X candidates in the Middle East will be notified separately in due course.
a) The examination scheduled on Saturday, 07 March 2026 has been postponed. Revised dates will be announced later.
