As Delhi wakes up to warmer mornings after months of chills and fog, the national capital recorded a maximum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is expected to drop to 11 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The national capital is likely to see a misty day on Wednesday (February 11), however, no warning has been issued by the weather department.
Unlike today,Delhi woke up to a mainly clear sky on Tuesday, with sunlight bringing relief from harsh winters for Delhiites.
Maximum temperature: 26 degrees Celsius
Minimum temperature: 11 degrees Celsius
Misty mornings, with no warning
The weather in Delhi is expected to remain the same as today; however, warmer days are approaching, with the maximum temperature forecasted to rise by up to 13 degrees Celsius. Misty mornings are likely to be accompanied by rising temperatures; however, no warnings have been issued by the IMD.
The IMD in its latest bulletin stated, "No large change in minimum temperatures during the next 7 days. Consequently, minimum temperatures are likely to be normal (-1.5°C to 1.5°C) during the next 7 days."
It added, "Mainly clear sky during the next 7 days except 14 February when it is likely to be partly cloudy sky. Mist during morning hours during next 7 days."

Delhi's air quality is getting better compared to last month, as the national capital recorded an AQI of 287, categorising it in the "poor" category. However, some areas are still recording "very poor" AQI with levels crossing the 300 mark. These areas include Anand Vihar, Ashok Vihar, Bawana, Chandni Chowk, ITO, and a few more.
