Trump is touting a $3 billion series of historic mining projects to counter China’s supply chain dominance and around $180 million investment into U.S. mining schools. The Senate approves a Russia sanctions package to reinforce U.S. support for Ukraine. Late Sen. Lindsey Graham was working on the package for a year, right up until the day before he died. The bill would allow Trump to impose tariffs on the world’s top five buyers of Russian oil or natural gas, with exceptions.
