Sachin Tendulkar delivered an emotional speech during the pre-wedding festivities of his son, Arjun Tendulkar, with Saaniya Chandok, which went viral on social media. The couple is set to tie the knot in the last few days and celebrated their union at Jamnagar, and they were hosted by Mukesh and Nita Ambani.
In a video of the event shared by Arjun's former IPL franchise Mumbai Indians (MI), that are owned by the Ambani family, Sachin opened up on his son's marriage and revealed he realised that his son had grown up after he introduced her Saaniya. Sachin also shared that the couple are 'madly in each other.'
"Thank you very much for having us here. When a son brings a girl home to introduce her, then you know that the son has grown up. They look madly in love with each other.Arjun, I have to say I am extremely proud of you to have found someone so special who loves you as much as you love her," said Sachin.
Reports have revealed that Arjun and Saaniya will tie the knot on 5th March in Mumbai. Recently, the couple, alongside the families, met and invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit, President Droupadi Murmu, and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi.
Saaniya is the founder of Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP, a pet grooming and wellness brand. She graduated from the London School of Economics in 2020 and later obtained a qualification as a Veterinary Technician. She is the granddaughter of Ravi Ghai, the chairman of the Graviss Group. Her parents, Sunny and Gaurika, are also associated with the same organisation.
