August 05, 2026 MANHATTAN, New York - NYPD officers along with National guard members assigned to Joint Task Force Empire Shield seen assisting NYPD with crowd control and checking the vitals of an individual reported to have been struck by a train at the E 125 Subway Station in East Harlem.
The power to both local and express tracks were shut down for rescue operations. After an investigation it was unclear if the train made contact with the man and he was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital for further assistance.
