Korea's exports jumped 44.4 percent from a year earlier in the first 10 days of February, data showed Wednesday.

Outbound shipments reached $21.39 billion in the Feb. 1-10 period, compared with $14.81 billion tallied a year earlier, according to the data from the Korea Customs Service.

Imports went up 21.1 percent on-year to $20.74 billion during the period, resulting in a trade surplus of $64 million, the data showed.
