TOLEDO, Ohio — A 26-year-old from Maumee was injured after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday in downtown Toledo, according to police. The crash happened around 12:44 a.m. in the 600 block of Monroe Street. Investigators said the person was crossing Monroe Street when they were struck by a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old. The pedestrian landed near 619 Monroe St. and was taken for medical treatment. Four passengers were inside the vehicle: a 20-year-old, a 15-year-old, a 16-year-old and a 19-year-old, according to the police report. The report does not indicate that the driver or passengers were injured. No arrests or charges were listed. The crash remains under investigation.
