It all began when a man made a “crude and inappropriate comment” about a woman’s buttocks while at the bar, according to the Key West Police report. The woman and her friend responded to the man about his comment and he became confrontational. Both women were struck repeatedly during the chaos. The man began swinging and then his girlfriend joined in. David Kahari Villa was arrested on a felony battery charge. Police said Villa’s been arrested for battery numerous times. Villa has two battery convictions in Polk County — both in 2012, police said. Also, Luluna Dorcas Edwards was arrested on two counts of misdemeanor battery and one charge of disorderly conduct. Both are now banned from the Key West Benihana.
