The National Committee for the Planning and Construction of Preferred Housing Complexes (HotML) has approved for deposit the "East Gat Vineyards" plan - one of the largest development plans being promoted in Israel today. This is a new urban district in the northeast of Kiryat Gat, which will include approximately 11,000 housing units, hundreds of thousands of square meters for commerce and employment, an advanced transportation center and extensive open spaces.
