July 30th, 2026 - Bronx, NY: At approximately 10:20 p.m., firefighters responded to the area of E. 163rd St. and Southern Blvd for a MTA accordion bus carrying passengers that crashed into another MTA bus causing extensive damage to the rear door area and immediate interior.
At least one person was reportedly trapped momentarily after the collision but soon after were taken into the care of EMS.
