Ecolab Korea President Ryu Yang-kwon began his career in research and development at the petrochemical company Capro before joining Nalco, where he led marketing in Asia-Pacific marketing and sales for Korea and Taiwan. He has been leading Ecolab Korea since 2014, after the company merged with Nalco in 2011, drawing over three decades of experience at the company to steer its business in Korea.
Ryu has prioritized strengthening human capital, believing that “trust-based organizational leadership drives sustainable performance.” He has invested in developing supportive systems and work environment, earning the company a Best Workplaces in Korea award by the Great Place to Work Institute.
