Redefine Meals will soon be expanding into the former Entermann’s Factory located in North Bay Shore.
Redefine Meals is a Long Island-based meal-prep company focused on fresh, nutritional ingredients.
The new facility is 107,000-square-feet and will be utilized by Redefine Meals into a “centralized production and operations hub."
The factory will be able to produce up to 200,000 meals a day, which will greatly help the company in its rising customer demand across Westchester, Long Island, and New York City.
Redefine Meals was founded back in 2016 by Long Islanders Matt Riss and Mark Ciaburri. Redefine Meals now has 25 locations and their online ordering platform, and this facility will mark the next step in their growth.
“This expansion is something we’ve been working toward for years,” Ciaburri shared. “It gives us the ability to scale responsibly, create jobs locally, and continue delivering.”
Choosing their facility to be at the former factory was a meaningful decision to Riss and Ciaburri.
“For so many people, this location holds memories,” Riss emphasized. “We’re proud to bring food production back to this space — this time with a modern focus on health, convenience, and accessibility.”
Even with its continued expansion into a larger food company, Redefine Meals assured customers that it will remain “rooted in the values that fueled its growth: community, quality ingredients, and convenience without compromise.”
The new facility will bring with it multiple jobs in logistics, quality control, and food production among other roles. Phased openings will take place throughout the year while construction continues.
