July 29, 2026 MANHATTAN, New York - Police and FDNY responded just before 9am to a collision between two bicyclists and a vehicle that resulted in one fatality near City Hall at Chambers St & Centre St in the Lower Manhattan, New York. According to police, a 17-year-old bicyclist was killed Wednesday morning in a collision with the 40-year-old driver of a 2008 black Chevrolet Tahoe. The two were both traveling northbound on Centre Street when the collision occurred, and the teen was pronounced dead at the scene, cops said.
