A prominent Canadian engineering university has eliminated beef, one of the country’s top agricultural products from its campus dining halls in a bid to “shrink its carbon emissions”.

Meanwhile Canadians could soon be eating gene-edited pork without realizing it, now that Health Canada has greenlit human consumption of modified pigs with no labelling required.
