French PresidentEmmanuel Macronsaid Tuesday he was “very sceptical” about the possibility of “short-term peace” in Ukraine, while speaking to allies on the fourth anniversary of Russia’s invasion.
“I am very sceptical, to say the least, about the prospect of achieving short-term peace,” he said during a call with other leaders of countries allied with Ukraine.
“It is good to continue these peace talk initiatives,” he added, but “there is no willingness on the Russian side to achieve peace”.
