In an Instagram post on Tuesday, 24 February, Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie announced that they are now offering a family reward of up to $1 million (£740,000) for any information that may lead to her mother, Nancy Guthrie's recovery. Nancy Guthrie was reported missing on 1 February.
In the heartfelt video, the host said, 'It is day 24 since our mom was taken in the dark of night from her bed.' Savannah described the past weeks as 'agony,' saying that she and her family constantly worry about her mother, Nancy.
She also acknowledged millions of people who have been praying for her return, saying, 'Please keep praying without ceasing. We still believe in a miracle. We still believe that she can come home.'
Savannah also spoke about the possibility that her mother may no longer be alive, but reiterated that she and her family just have to know for sure. She said, 'She may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves, and is dancing in heaven with her mom and her dad, and with her beloved brother Pierce, and with our daddy. And if this is what is to be, then we will accept it.'

'But we need to know where she is. We need her to come home,' Savannah Guthrie said. According to the Today host, for this reason, her family is offering a family reward of up to $1 million (£740,000) for any information that may lead to the recovery of her mother, Nancy Guthrie. She urged anyone with any information to call 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).
'You can be anonymous if you want. Someone out there knows something that can bring her home. Somebody knows. And we are begging you to please come forward now.'
Savannah said her family will also be donating half a million dollars to the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children for their efforts in helping families cope with loss and searching for missing persons.
She said, 'We are hoping that the attention that has been given to our mom, and our family will extend to all the families like ours who are in need, and need prayers... and need support.'
Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen at her home near Tucson, Arizona in the early morning hours of 1 February 2026. Authorities believe she was abducted. Federal and local law enforcement, including the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff's Office, have since actively investigated her disappearance. No suspects have been named, and key DNA evidence has yet to produce leads.
