18-year-old Palm Coast woman arrested after spitting on deputy during transport to mental health facility Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies first responded around 7 p.m. to a report of a woman who was intoxicated and in distress. During transport to a mental health facility, 18-year-old Autumn Bellows became aggressive and uncooperative. She managed to slip out of her handcuffs and spat on one of the deputies, hitting him in the face and hair. While transporting 18-year-old Autumn Bellows to a mental health facility, she became aggressive, slipped her handcuffs, spat on a deputy’s face and hair, and licked the in-car patrol camera. Bellows was charged with felony battery on a law enforcement officer. She later pled no contest and her case was settled in pretrial intervention.
