A Massachusetts bro fell in love with “hella underrated” San Jose while visiting for the Super Bowl — only to get a double dose of hard reality when his rental car was stolen after his beloved Patriots lost.
Marc Lewis, a digital content creator and podcast host, gushedabout the South Bay on Instagram Saturday night.
“I’m super pleasantly surprised with San Jose. This city is cool. Straight up,” he said, praising the city’s “Latino flair” and comparing it to his hometown of Lawrence — “but laidback, calmer, and more colorful.”
“It’s like loud but laidback at the same time. It’s like loud but quiet at the same time,” he added.
Lewis’s lovefest didn’t stop there. He called the city “dope and hella underrated” and even hinted he’d be back: “I f–k with heavy.”
But Sunday morning, reality hit harder than the Seahawks’ defense. His rental car, parked at Saint James Park, was missing. At first, Lewis thought it had been towed — until a helpful commenter spilled the beans,KRON4 Bay Area reported.

Lewisconfirmedthe worst: “After talking with San Jose PD, my rental car was actually stolen. So you people that called in the comments section … you’re 100% right.”
