July 26, 2026 Queens, NY – At approximately 1:17 am police responded to a 911 call for an assault in progress on the Belt Parkway Eastbound near Exit 21 B in the confines of the 116th Precinct, according to police.
Police encountered a 47-year-old man unconscious with severe head trauma, and a 39-year-old man with an arm injury. The 47-year-old man was transported to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The 39-year-old man was treated by EMS on scene, according to police.
