Mary Kate Golding, a set designer on the popular show The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, was found dead in her apartment in Astoria, Queens, on July 21 after officers responded to a 911 call for an assault, police said.
When officers arrived just after midnight, they found the 34-year-old with a stab wound to her back. She was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
According to police, the body of her husband, Joseph Azzaretto, was found about six hours later, just before 7 a.m., after officers responded to a 911 call for an unconscious person in nearby Astoria Park.
The couple leaves behind a young child, who was found unharmed at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
