Indian Youth Congress chief Uday Bhanu Chib was arrested by the Delhi police days after party workers staged a "shirtless" protest at the AI Summit. The arrest took place at 4.30 AM. The court has remanded him to 4-day police custody.

On Friday, Youth Congress workers carried out a "shirtless" protest inside the summit venue, waving t-shirts with protest messages targeting 'compromised Prime Minister Narendra Modi". The Delhi Police has alleged that the protest staged by Indian Youth Congress was part of a "larger conspiracy" and claimed it appeared to be inspired by Nepal's recent Gen Z-led agitation.
