Off-Duty NYPD Officer Stabbed Bell Blvd - Queens

July 22nd, 2026 - Queens, NY: At approximately 12:49 a.m., officers from 111th Precinct responded to the area of 39th Ave. and Bell Blvd for an off-duty NYPD officer who was stabbed in the right hand after being confronted by a pair of suspects. A chain could be seen on the street. It's unknown if the chain belonged to the officer and if it is related to the incident at this time.
