O’Reilly correctly casts this as childish on behalf of Democrats but goes further, suggesting that these Democrats are beholden to the donors who are bankrolling them. He suggests that this is the real reason they are not attending, despite their claims.
Of course, most Trump supporters do not mind the idea of these people skipping the event. It will be better without them there. All they do is sit there, looking angry and trying to make the whole thing about them.
Bill O’Reilly says Democrats who are skipping President Trump’s SOTU are taking marching orders from their radical-left donors.
He predicts that unlike last year, every Democrat who actually shows up will stand and applaud Team USA — and says it would be political suicide if they don’t.
VITTERT:“What’s your over under on the number of Democrats who stand up and applaud Team USA?”
O’REILLY:“All of them that are there because a real radicals are not going to be there.”
“So the radical left in the House are 100% dependent on radical left money. So there’s not really a people with an independent point of view on anything.”
“They do what they’re told, and they were told to go down to the mall and do another State of the Union, the people’s state of the union, whatever stupid thing they came up with.”
“So they’re not going to be there, all of these a bomb throwers, Trump haters.”
“The other Democrats have to stand. It would hurt them so dramatically if they don’t.”
